Tool 01 · Bulk coordinates

A whole point list
transformed in one pass.

Paste coordinates or load them from a TXT file, choose the column order and the two systems, and get every point in the target system, ready to export as DXF or KML.

What the tool does

The bulk screen sits under Coordinate transformation in the app menu.

InputType or paste the list, or load it from a TXT file with the Load TXT button
Column orderY X, X Y, N Y X or N Y X Z, the leading N is the point name or number
SeparatorsOne point per line, or pairs separated by commas
HeightA Z column is accepted in the input and ignored in the transformation
GeometryPoints, or Polygon: the points are joined in entry order into a closed outline
ExportDXF for CAD or KML for Google Earth
HistoryEvery batch is saved with its systems and point count, and can be exported as DXF later

How to use it

01

Pick the two systems

The same list of coordinate systems as in single transformation, searchable by name, region or EPSG code.

02

Set the column order

Choose the format that matches your file, so easting and northing are not swapped.

03

Enter the points

Paste the list or load a TXT file. Each line is one point.

04

Transform and export

All points are converted at once. Choose Points or Polygon, then DXF or KML.

Things worth knowing

Points or a parcel outline

Points exports every coordinate on its own. Polygon joins them in the order entered and closes back to the first one, use it when the list is a parcel boundary.

Point numbers stay with the points

With N Y X or N Y X Z the first column is kept as the point name, so the list in the result matches your field book.

Straight to CAD or Google Earth

The DXF opens in AutoCAD with the points or the outline in the target system. The KML opens in Google Earth.

One point is quicker elsewhere

For a single coordinate pair the Coordinate transformation screen is faster and shows the result on a map.

Frequently asked questions

What format does the TXT file need?

The same as manual entry: one point per line, columns in the order you selected (Y X, X Y, N Y X or N Y X Z).

Is the height transformed?

No. A Z column can be present in the input, but it is ignored.

Can I export a closed polygon?

Yes. Set the geometry type to Polygon and the points are joined in entry order, with the last one closing back to the first.

Are earlier batches kept?

Yes. Batch history keeps the systems, the point count and the first and last point, and each batch can be exported as DXF again.
